Academic Coach Training Days

In the 2021-22 school year, we started offering Academic Coach Training days to support the learning of our ACs.  On these training days, students are not in session and ACs are able to focus their attention on statewide sessions offered by various departments.  While some trainings are required and assist ACs in learning the processes and procedures at GOAL, others are designed to grow ACs in their job role in ways that support both student and AC growth.

We're happy to announce that Academic Coach Training Days will continue into the 2024-25 school year and the dates are official!  See them below:

• October 11, 2024

• January 6, 2025

• March 14, 2025

On those dates, we'll host an afternoon of statewide trainings, similar to how we do Gladiator Forum each month.  The biggest difference will be that all sessions are geared towards our amazing ACs!

If you are interested in presenting at a future AC Training Day, please reach out to the L&D Department and consider completing the Facilitator Certification Course.  We welcome all staff groups who have experiences and knowledge to share to help each other grow!
